The staff here is efficient, professional and all around wonderful. The office is neat, orderly and reception is always friendly. Care is comprehensive and Dr. Karnakova always goes the extra mile to help me overcome my anxieties, as I tend to get pretty anxious when I have a deep cleaning done. I don’t live particularly close to the practice but I still go here, that’s how good they are.

Really enjoyed my visit to Cal Dent, they’re good at what they do. Needed a checkup and overall oral exam and they were able to see me as a walk-in. In the end I had to get four wisdom teeth extracted and a cavity filled and the process went well, shout-out everyone who works there!! Felt supported every step of the way. 💪💪 …

Cal Dental is THE BEST! I first came here with an emergency dental issue which I was very nervous about and they eased my pain and made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Karnakova is the sweetest dentist I have ever met and created a treatment plan that resolved all my dental concerns. I live close by so this office is heaven sent! Everyone that works here is wonderful and Alec is always a delight to speak with. Thank you Cal Dental! Found my dentist office for life <3

I have been going to this office for years. They are the best in LA hands down. I have gone for cleanings, exams, and oral surgeries. The staff is super friendly, and it’s easy to book appointments. The office is very welcoming and clean with up-to-date equipment. At Cal Dental Group, I always know that I am in good hands. Def would recommend!

This is one of the best dental facilities I have ever visited. The doctors are exceptional, and their staff is superb as well. Their quality of work is top-notch, far better than a few dentist places I have been to before. The remarkable thing about this facility is that when examining your teeth, not only do they try to fix what needs immediate attention, but also look at defects in the teeth that may cause even more significant problems in the future. They make a precise dental plan to make your mouth as healthy as possible. Overall this dental facility has excellent doctors, outstanding work quality, and a genuine goal to keep your mouth as healthy as possible. 11/10, I would highly recommend.

Thank you to the team at Cal Dental! I had needed an emergency root canal and a crown put in, they set me up with a specialist for the root canal and got my crown put on within 48 hrs of my initial visit. The office is comfortable and inviting and the attention to details was obviously highest priority. Very welcoming and friendly and made the whole situation a breeze. Thanks again!

Dishonest business, will try and make you pay things covered by your insurance. Went in for a root canal consultation and was told I would have to pay X amount in co-pay after the pre-authorization for the procedure went through to my insurance. After scheduling the root canal and being forced to pay a deposit I called my insurance to make sure that the copayment would be correct (it wasn't). They said I was fully covered under my plan and that I shouldn't be paying anything. Days later I checked to see if the pre-auth went through and guess what, it did. Confused, I tried to get both my insurance and Cal Dental Group(the one on Crenshaw - I see you commenting in people's reviews saying they have the wrong office, not the case here) on the phone. This led to the office manager phoning me directly to verbally gaslight me and tell me I am troublesome, argumentative, combative, and "wasting their hard workers time". Needless to say, I cancelled my appointment. Awful dental practice and a shame. Should NOT be in business. Beware and do your due diligence if going here.
